"Who are you?"
We, Rebecca & Josh, are long time Florida residents, local to Venice, FL for over 10 years. I (Rebecca) am a Graphic Designer by trade with a background in marketing and communications, and spend my weekends baking and tackling house projects. Josh is a career contractor, having been a handyman fresh out of high school and continuing to this day. He spent 10 years learning hardwood floor restoration with his father-in-law, and worked at Lowe's in the Pro dept for another 10 years, making connections and creating valuable relationships with trusted specialists in trade work. On the weekends you can catch Josh camping with the boyscouts as their Scoutmaster with their two boys, Brady & Preston. If not camping, you'd find him fishing with Preston off Sharkey's Pier.

"What qualifies you to watch our home?"
We are no newbies when it comes to watching Florida homes. Josh has spent the better part of the last 2 decades remodeling homes both up north (we're from upstate New York/New Jersey/Pennsylvania) and in Florida. Josh has worked closely with contractors in the Venice area and is well versed in the complications that can arise with both new and established homes. My keen eye for details and generational knowledge of home maintenance allows me to walk through a home and spot problems before they start. We also continue to further our education in home repair, hurricane preparation, and restoration. Josh is also actively working towards his Florida Contractors License and hopes to have accomplished this in 2025. We have big plans, all to make your experience working with us as pleasant and satisfying as possible. We carry extensive insurance and bonding for home watch and home repair, and are federally background checked as leaders for the local Boy Scout Troop 77.
"Why are you taking over Venice Homewatch customers?"
We have been working on our business plan, and part of that plan is to grow and expand our home watch business and help more customers in the area. As Brady and Preston get older, the intention is to create a business that they can eventually take over, a true "Family-Owned Business" that can last many, many years. Bill Wright helped us get started years ago and when the opportunity to grow with Bill's help presented itself, we couldn't pass it up!
We are excited to begin this next phase, and our promise to you is to continue to give you the standard of service that you are used to with Bill. We use the same reporting platform he does, use many of the same pricing structures, adopted many of the same policies when it comes to entering your home, and feel that each of our customers becomes an extension of our family. We hope you feel the same when your property is under our care!
